Biography

Timothy Klaver

Timothy Klaver was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. He is a gifted artist, having drawn since the age of four. During High School, he had a desire to get into the field of comic book illustration (and still has a desire to self-publish a three-issue mini-series he wrote back in 1997). After High School, Timothy took a few traditional animation courses through Timothy Slater's Animation School. This came to an abrupt end due to unforeseen circumstances. In 2000, Timothy graduated from the Internet Graphic Design program at Westervelt College with Presidential Honours. He was on the rise as an extraordinary designer, and even ran his own chat room, called Chat-aholics (for those who love to chat; you know, chat addicts), for nearly 10 years. In 2010, Timothy graduated from the Building Trades program at North American Trade Schools. He very much enjoys doing things with his own two hands that give him a sense of accomplishment.

Studying to be a pastor, Timothy graduated from the Biblical and Theological Studies one-year program at New Brunswick Bible Institute in 2005. Timothy did not feel the leading of the Holy Spirit to return for two more years, but continued in his daily personal studies, making the Word of Yahweh his sole authority, which has led him to where he is today. In 2010, he wrote his first book, The End Times: Letting the Bible Speak for Itself. Initially, this book was lined up to be published through West Bow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson and Zondervan, but circumstances beyond his control prevented this from happening and it did not get published until 2017. The goal with writing this book (and all his books) was to lay it out in such a manner as to take the reader by the hand and lead him/her, allowing him/her to see for him/herself precisely what the Bible actually has to say in regard to eschatology (the end times).

A prolific writer, Timothy has authored nearly two dozen books covering a full range of topics, all from an apologetics standpoint: The End Times: Letting the Bible Speak for Itself (2017), Romans 7: Who Is This Man? (2017), Divorcing Divorce (2018), The Christmas Story in Chronological Order (2018), The Easter Story in Chronological Order (2019), What About This Jesus? (2019), and The Biblical Truth About Tithing (2020). He is also the general editor of the ABIDE: A Reader's Bible series (2020). He has authored hundreds of articles on The Berean's Desk blog since 2010.

Timothy and his wife, Maria, reside in Ontario with their three children.
